The Children We Help

Guardians ad Litem help children

One Hundred Years
from now...
...it will not matter what
your bank account was,
the sort of house you
lived in,
or the kind of car you drove

...but the world may be
different because you
were important
in the life
of a
CHILD

A baby is removed from the care of her mother because she is malnourished and her condition is considered to be "failure to thrive" by emergency room doctors. Mother believed her child to be healthy while at the same time starving her.

A mother addicted to cocaine has 11 children, all were born with cocaine in their systems.

An eighteen month old child was found in a bathtub in a travel trailer bound with old clothing, drenched in urine and feces, and unable to stand. Mother and dad previously had their parental rights terminated to three older children.

A teenager living with her parents is anorexic. Parents deny she has a health problem and refuse treatment for her.

Four children were removed from the home of their parents, all having been sexually abused by their father. The oldest child began perpetrating on the siblings.

As of June 30 2009, we have 161 Guardian ad Litem volunteers - but we need your help.
